How to communicate with a tutor
Communicating with a tutor prior to a tutoring session takes place within the in app messaging system.
To ask a tutor a question prior to hiring the tutor, a student can click on the “contact” button in the tutor’s job profile. This will open the pre-purchase messaging system. These messages do not carry over to the post-purchase messaging system, as they are meant for questions and preliminary scheduling purposes.
Once a tutor has been hired, all messaging takes place within the post-purchase messaging system. This is accessed by clicking on the “bell” in the top right hand corner of the screen. After clicking the bell, you will see all of the tutoring sessions that you have purchased. To communicate with a tutor, select the session that you want to discuss. This will open the post-purchase messaging system.
To protect yourself and the tutor, always message within the in app messaging system.
